Szczecin is not only the capital and the most important city of the voivodship of West Pomerania, but of the entire Euroregion of Pomerania. The city is situated on the Lower Oder, at 65 km from the Baltic Sea and at 130 km from Berlin.

The smallest, and at the same time one of the oldest resorts in the Rewal Commune – Trzęsacz, is located 2 km to the west of Rewal, on a steep sea cliff. Its greatest attraction are the famous ruins of a church from the turn of the 14th and 15th century, known not only in Poland, but almost all over Europe.
