According to the long-term development strategy of the company, the Wieliczka Salt Mine launched its underground rehabilitation and treatment facility as a Private Healthcare Centre.
FEATURES, ORIGINS, VALUES AND LEGAL PROTECTION
The resort upholds the spa traditions in the unique microclimate of salt mine workings. It organises rehabilitative and curative stays while pursuing an active programme of respiratory rehabilitation in the underground workings at a depth of approximately 135m below ground. The resort also offers several preventive health programmes targeted at both children and adults. In addition to underground therapy, the centre also offers a wide range of medical services.
